Daryl / pilotdaryl:  I'm glad you like what I've done so far.  I'm not "sweating the small stuff", because it all adds to the realism.  To answer your question:  yes, I will have some bigger highway-grade signs soon.

Pat / patfirefightr:  It's closer than you think.  ;)

Rory / canuck3360:  Thanks for commenting!  Who knows - maybe Lyndonville will be able to join the STHL someday!

Dustin / thundercrack83:  Thank you for the continued support!  It's through the community here that my signs and signals will be able to enter SC4.  So, all of you - thank you for helping!

Nexis:  Focus up, buddy . . . . . because:

It's Update Time!

I'll admit to being a perfectionist.  *shrug*  There's an awful lot of us.  So, I have re-thought and re-designed Murray.  Here's my efforts:

Questions and comments are welcome!  I'll get around to updating the descritpions here very very soon!

Thank you for watching!

Very nice!  Very, very nice!  I feel like I'm actually at a lake! ;D

Hey, Ryan!

Sorry it's taken so long for me to comment, but here I am! The redesign of Murray looks great--as always, you're highways are the highlight for me.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more!

Just checking out the neighbouring county  ;)

You have created a very nice shore Ryan. I have been working on the Lake Ontario Shore in Rhenen the other day, and the only thing I can say is: the sand looks the same LOL. Your beaches are just great,  and I like the tree trunks on them.

There is only one recommendation that I like to make: try something else to connect power to the farmlands. Those huge electric things spoil the effect of the perfect layouts that you make. Try to get a shed, a billboard or some plopapble trees to link the power...

Murray, Part II

I'll get to replies shortly.  First, however, I want to delve a bit deeper into Lakeside Beach State Park.

As a state facility, LBSP falls under the purview of the state's finest, the New York State Police:

On a bright and sunny morning, all is well at the West Entrance to Lakeside Beach State Park.

hey, wait a minute . . . .

Here, we see the cruiser of Lt. J. Haskins "conveniently parked" behind the western toll booth . . .

Uh-oh . . . what'd he see?  Toll evader?  Speeder?  DWI?  Either way, someone's busted.

As I said before, replies are coming soon!

It looks to me like a police chase is about to commence there. ;)  I'm sure the NYSP will catch the ne'er-do-weller without much difficulty.  And Jan's cop car there looks fantastic.

And the road networks are looking quite nice as well--your RHW usage the past couple updates is very creative.  I can't wait to see what you do with the . . . um . . . new stuff. ;D

Correction: NYST: New York State Trooper, not NYSP $%Grinno$%

I should know as I was the one that painted the words "State Trooper" on the trunk lid and the NYST seal on the doors. :P I lost track of the number of searches I did for photos of NYST cars, though.

Could also be New York State Police...

Very clever stuff here, Ryan! I love how you "conveniently" positioned the police car to make that speed trap. I can't wait to hear about who he was going after!

Take care!

Folks, I'm really sorry about having to do this, but I'm going to be going away for a while - and I'm not sure when I'm coming back.

Therefore, I request this MD be moved to the 'Inactive' section after the allotted time frame.

Thank you for reading, and when I come back, I hope y'all will come back.

Pat

you can bet on my return to Orleans County when you come back Ryan!!!

Too bad; I don't think I have replied often, but I certainly liked lurking around here, your transit-systems are remarkable. If you will revive this MD someday, I'll certainly reply more  :)

I think we're on our way back, folks . . . . ;)

EDIT:  I'm not sure if I ever showed this picture, but it's a follow-up to the New York State Police segment we had earlier:

Looks like Lt. Haskins has caught a school-zone speeder.

More to come very soon . . . ;)

Hey nice pic!  Like the use of signage and the new RHW textures!

Its great to see this MD back!
