Interesting teaser, you have there Robin! I like how you'd manage to make that chalk body thing appear in such a fitting place ;) But the road in the top-left corner is looking bad in my opinion. The cartoony style of it doesn't fit to your realistic photo :)

Conclusion: Inruguing teaser. Fix the road :P

Thank you for your attention.

I can really only think of one word to describe your work here in Mind Scape: Brilliant!

Keep it up, my friend!

Robin, I've been away for far too long.  Your ports and industrial areas never cease to amaze me.   &apls

Congratulations on 800!  I'll try to start adding to those numbers a bit more often...  ;)

Til next time,

Hey Robin - first up CONGRATS on breaking the 800 barrier - well done.  Mind Scape has always been a sepcial MD in my opinion.

Second - apologies for not popping in for some time (I've been a bit inactive all round recently).

Third - Great to see that the port updates are still a speciality of yours - and this one is a real beauty.

As for the teaser/clue, hmmmmmm something to do with rubbish and murder?  Some kind of detective story maybe?  Whatever it is I'm sure it'll be done with the usual Mind Scape panache.

All the best,

Paul

Lots of congrats in order mate &apls.

Slowly catching up - as far as page 30 now not many more to go.
(Seems to me the last post from me here was nearly a year ago  :o -oops)

Just wanted to pop in with this for you

I would like to thank a very good friend, Dustin for the great work he did for me on the above picture.  Thank you very much my friend!

Hello All,

Remember a while back I did a few updates on bridges, well I have another one.
Bridges have always fascinated me, their structures are beautiful in their own ways.  The thought, the engineering, the I'm not really talking about the small bridges that cross over your local highway or the small stream, but the massive ones that cross entire valleys and are hundreds of meters high or over huge rivers where ships are able to pass under.  Now these are the ones that I like and are magnificent engineering marvels.
And the following pictures are no exception.....

Let me share with you the Millau Viaduct (Wikipedia link)

I hope you enjoyed those pictures as much as did.  This is definately a fascinating bridge.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy just happens to be my most favourite books (movie as well) of all time to date.

See you all around,

Robin, this is just simply amazing! I've been chatting recently with a young man who is interested in bridges, and he has provided links to several interesting Wiki stories and photos. But nothing like this. Next time we chat, I'll be sure to send him over here!

Congratulations on your third appearance in OSITM. I've always heard that three's a charm...

Hello All,

I just wanted to show you all the map that we will be working on during this month.

Our friend Troy (Blade2k5) has made alot of great maps over the last few months and the Corpus Christie map is one of my favourites.  I have decided to see what I can do with this one.

Here are a few satelite images of the areas we will be concentrating on.

For this particular area, in the satelite images you can see it is mostly residential, but I think I will be changing that up a litlle.  ::)
Maybe some dirty ports, you know, my sort of stuff.  The one thing I will try to do is not ot change the landscape too much.  So we'll see how it goes.

As for the bridge update.  I have something else to continue that topic in a few days.

Something for your Mind.

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction, see if you can do it.

At first when I looked at the dancer, she was spinning clockwise and than after a few moments of concentration I was able to make her spin the opposite way.  After a few more moments I was able to make her spin back and forth with ease.  I guess both halves of my brain work just fine.  ;)

See you all tomorrow,
Robin
