Looks cool with the roadside parking!  I just hope my MD will end up in the HoF at some point! And have you joined the Cities XL beta test? You would make great cities for XL!

Hello Dustin!  I've been lurking around for a couple days, working my way through the entire journal, and I have to say this is the greatest combination of inspirational city planning and informative tutorials that I've seen anywhere for SC4!  Keep up the excellent work, and I'll be back often to keep tabs on everything!

Arthur (art128): Thank you, Arthur! I'm glad that you like it so far, my friend1

Robin (rooker1): Ha! Indeed, I am, Robin! Indeed, I am! I hope you had a great weekend, my friend!

Ryan (carkid1998): Thanks, Ryan! The roadside parking is my favorite part so far, too. It had a finer detail of which I am quite a fan!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Thank you, Alex! I haven't joined a Cities XL Beta Test, though. My time is pretty consumed by Marathon at the moment, so I don't think I would be any help to the testing. Thanks for the vote of confidence, though!

Luke (Luke09): Thanks, Luke! Will the flora be in the London Eye area, you ask? I'm not quite sure yet, but as soon as I know, you'll know, too! Take care!

physicsguy981: Hello! Welcome not only to Marathon, but to SC4Devotion, too! Thank you so much for such wonderful comments, I am so happy that you're enjoying things here. I hope to see you back again very soon!

Have you downloaded...

...the new Hunter-Dulin Building by our very great friend Jon (JBSimio)? If you haven't, you probably haven't seen it yet, because one look at it, and your brain automatically tells your body to commence downloading from the LEX immediately. It's called the JBSimio Syndrome! I would say that I "suffer" from it, but it's definitely not "suffering," I'll tell you that! Excellent job on another excellent creation, Jon!

More from Marathon soon!

Hi Thundercrack

Very nice Image, I like the tight architecture  ;)
And of course I have download this Building  ;D
My City: Sinburg

Hello Dustin,
I suffer a lot of different syndromes, if that's what you want to call them. :D ;)
That picture is great....but....I wish you would wait a few moments for some life to come.  No vehicles, no people.... &mmm... and I think that avenue is begging to be changed to GLR in avenue. ;) That is of course if you are up to a challenge.  If you can't do it I understand. ::)

See you later my friend,
Robin

That building makes a great addition to Marathon!

Andy2k: Thank you so much, my friend!

Robin (rooker1): Hey, Robin! I'm with you on the syndromes, my friend. I'm a walking hospital when it comes to them! You're right about the lack of "life" in that picture, too. I just threw it together quickly because I wanted to show off Jon's fantastic new creation, but I should have waited for some cars and stuff! As for the GLR-in-Avenue, that's a great idea! That's something that I haven't actually played around with very much. Perhaps I'll start now! Thanks for stopping by, my friend!

Alex (Driftmaster07): Thanks, Alex! And looking like it does, I think it makes a great addition to all cities!

rdrdrdrd: Thanks! The streets are not diagonal, I just used a Photoshop trick to reverse the image horizontally. Sorry for the confusion!

Luke (Luke09): Thanks, Luke! It seems that the syndrome is spreading! I'd say that's good news, though. Take care!

Progress is coming to the latest sections of Abitibi Square, albeit slowly...much, much slower than I would like it to, if I'm honest. Here's the latest...

And a quick close-up...

...of Quay Avenue heading toward Abitibi Square.

I'm still plugging away, don't worry! I've also got another project on my mind that needs some attention, too, though. Maybe we'll see if that one turns up!

In a bit!

Nice lotting, Dustin. I like those roadside parking lots and the little gardens in front of the buildings.

Oh, and guess what: I've got the results of my exams today!
- English: 7/10
- Social Studies: 8/10
- Informatics: 7/10
Looks like I did an excellent job (and you too with your excellent lotting skills  ;))

JBSimio

Hi Dustin,

Looks to me like a fair bit of that area "suffers" from JBSimio Syndrome.   ;)  JBSS?  or maybe JBSimSyn?  I don't know...  The flipped picture actually threw me off for a second too.  I looked and thought, "Hey... wait a minute!  Why is the fountain on that side of the building?!?"  Obviously, I haven't had enough time to play the game lately!  :D  Either way, I really like the looks of that area... and not just for the "obvious" reasons either.  It all fits together very nicely.  Thanks again for the free plug!  ;)

Abitibi Square is also growing nicely.  I like the new lotting and it's always fun to watch you piece this area together.  Even if you feel it's taking too long I think many here will agree that the results are well worth the wait.

See you soon!
JB
