Nice dam, Grand prix track and I love the winding canals throughout the cities.

Earth quake

Really nice dam.
The Grand prix track is just splendid, great work. &apls

sumwonyuno

The course is completely safe with UDI with the snap to road feature on $%Grinno$%.

I think spillway is the correct term.

mark's memory address - I've created a blog!

kwakelaar

Nice idea with the track, your pit stop is a good addition to it.

Hey everyone. :) Glad you all liked the update and I am starting to get the region finally filled out (as in all terraformed). Here is a current region shot.

And some current stats for the region.

Residential Population: 1,470,700
Commercial Population: 3,328,958
Industry Population: 23,019

And an update preview.

Also, I will be taking requests for the Christmas update. (Yes there will be one) Basically, I will try to pick the best option and try to make it over time (remember, no photoshopping please! I don't have it and I am not the greatest at it). Well, think up a brainstorm! Lol. I will be back next week with an update. I believe you all had a good Thanksgiving, so a last (and final) Happy Thanksgiving!

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

danielcote

Great teaser! You still need to fill in those spaces on the map though.

djvandrake

Impressive.  Allthough I'm confused as to how your commercial population is double the residential.  ()what()

Nanami

Nice region view.
Hmm, a bit weird with the population, commercials are more than residents.

Evillions8

You might want to zone more residential than commerical.  :D  I would suggest using bixel's monster complexes to fill that "gap" that you have. ;)

Earth quake

Just splendid teaser. &apls
And the regional aera is really impressive. &apls

Or become more western and make suburbs.

Very nice teaser, Driftmaster!

heh, looks like the Financial crisis hasn't effected Atrubia with those figures  :D...

Can't wait for more,
Adrian.

P.S. I'll try and drop in more  ;)
737s, Air Force, Australia... what next?

The terraforming is coming along nicely.  Quite the region there!  Also, that teaser looks great as well.

that's one hell of a teaser pic picture competition? ::)
RIP Adrian (adroman), you were a great friend

Nice updates! &apls Atrubia is developing well. Where did you find the ship in the teaser pic?

calibanX

This is coming along nicely. I love that dam. Looks like it took a bit of complex terraforming to create. It can't be easy to work with that desert terrain, you're doing a great job!

Alex, all I can ask is for a park or plaza along the water where all the folks from SC4d can meet for a Xmas get together. With scenery like yours, I'm sure it would be a great evening.

The region is looking great and I'm pleased you've kept that unique desert/gulf theme going. You do it so well

Update 55: Did 'yall miss me?

Evillions8: Well, good luck with that!

Cyclone1001: Thanks! And probably!

Battlecat: Thanks! :)

Ricky112233: Thanks very much! Lol. A donkey? I am trying to find good mosques. There aren't that many. Happy, err, Chrstmas now!

Danielcate: Thanks!

Earth Quake: Thankyou!

sumwonyuno: Yeah. And I do think that is the correct term. I was thinking slipway like on the backs of whaling ships.

kwakelaar: Thanks!

Danielcote: Yeah. I do.

djvandrake: It is a bit confusing but with the sims being very picky and all, you just have to put up more work places than RES. It is just the way my game works.

976: Thanks! And I know.

Evillions8: Yeah. I do have a lot of Bixel stuff. I just can't remember the zoning size. Lol.

Earth Quake: Thanks!

emgmod: That too.

Adrian (adroman): Yeah. We are not at all affected! Well, maybe a tiny bit. ;)

Battlecat: Thanks!

WC_EEND: Yeah. Lol. And thanks!

citycapitalizer: Thanks! The ship is one of the CSX dependency packs.

Geoff (calibanX): No it wasn't easy to create. ;) Thanks!

Dave (tooheys): Thanks! I think I will do that. :)

I will start the update with a new pic... (of course ;))

Welcome to the Atrubian Space Program official runway. I will not be redistributing these models at this time.

This is where it will stop. The museum and official unloading point for the craft.

Lookout tower to the right, Mission control to the left.

Next we go to where that craft started off. The Meriah City International Airport and Space Center.

The international terminal, as of now...

Those of you who visit the "Best Picture Show" thread know by now that there was a terrorism situation here at the airport:

Well, here is the article:

Terrorist Plot Leader Spotted, Takes Own Life After Intense 3 Hours

"Meriah City - You would not have wanted to be a passenger on Delta Airlines flight 594. Today at 18:43 the terrorism plot leader was found to be making a last, and bold, move to get out of the country. He was boarding a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner when radioactive alerts went bezerk on the plane. These were shortly installed after the recent attacks to discourage terrorism via Nuclear Weapon. The man held the entire plane and its 209 (other, not including himself) passengers by threatening to set off the weapon, destroying Meriah City and Meriah City International Airport (this is the new city to be debuted in the next Atrubia update). He let the pilot/co-pilot and crew get out of the plane before sealing it up and demanding ransom for the passengers. The Atrubian SWAT personnel were brought out to try to negitiate with the single hi-jacker. He would not budge, demanding $10 million.

The SWAT Team arrived shortly after the hostage situation took place. Swarming the plane and immobilizing it, the man had no choice. With his 19MM pistol, he took his own life 3 hours after the situation started. All passengers were accounted for, but new flights were arranged. The plane was, and is, a crime scene as of the moment. The man was later identified as Heden Ganbok. A man on the FBI's top 10 most wanted list (USA). There is no doubt he was the leader. If he wasn't he knew he would have options if he let the passengers go. "The terrorist attacks are deemed to be over," said Atubian President Abijad Aljakar. The league may rest at peace."

I have been experimenting with "road under jetway" designs. Whaddaya think?

The parking lot...

And the ATCT as of right now...

My new MD. Check it out if you wish.

Adrian, I miss you man.

Excellent work on the road under jetway, and I'm glad the terrorist situation ended without the destruction of the airport. Very nice update Driftmaster.

Fantastic work there, Alex! It's great to see a bit of a storyline emerging here

I liked that Hijacking scene, though the tanks look a bit... out of place. Other than that little critism, it looks great... and that ACTC looks fantastic!

Havva good one,
Adrian.
