Nice shot of the town.  There's a lot of custom buildings in there that I've never seen before.

Nice town...

I could be wrong, but I don't think you are allowed to show your village outside of the Thematic Comp. Board while the competition is still open... Again, I could be wrong.

Havva good one,
Adrian.
737s, Air Force, Australia... what next?

Nice little town you have. I have a tip for the "water bug" that pops up around your beaches. Go into the data view menu and select the zones option. Then turn it back off and the beaches should come out normally. I could be wrong; I never tested this with the beaches you use; just with other things that have the "water bug".

Also, use the cheat "tastyzots" to eliminate those no-job zots when you take your pics. Let us know if that works!

Kwakelaar: I'll look into those textures but What about the beack props? These are the only ones I can find with props on them. Maybe I can make some omnecent base texture lots but it will be hard surfing the millions of props I have.

Tomas Neto: Thanks and here in N. America its man not guy in that kinda sentence  :D Thanks though.

io_bg: How do you get rid of the zots?

emgmod: I have something better. An underground subway connecting the islands.

Earth quake: Yes I probably should but maybe its not the beack maybe it the water mod.

sumwonyuno: They all have jobs but they're all ridiculously picky. If they have to walk 4+ tiles to work they have those zots! even the ones who drive not that far have dots. It makes me so mad I just want to blow up the island and build something different.

calibanx: I might start over because everyone on the island is being rediculousley picky about they're commute.  &Thk/(

danielcote: Hi me!!!  :P

Driftmaster07: Yep me neither but its here  ;D

sumwonyuno: Yes I made them custom for myself. All the Parks are 95% simgoober stuff. The base textures are C.P.   ;)

Tomas Neto: Thanks its custom made.

Earthquake: Thank you.

adroman: Oh you are. Other people in the challenge have already done it. Take Corsica for an example.

dsrwhat316: Ah ha thats the cheat to get rid of those annoying zots! Thanks , about the beach tweak, I'm not a technical genius and you're probably better than me but I have a feeling that its the water texture.

UPDATE ... FINALY

http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/5824/draceresortdec290012595.png
introducing a new place ... Drace island resort. It will be in collaboration with the current story line.

http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/1816/draceresortjan701125954.png
Drace Resort is more tropical than my subtropical counterpart, Maple Bay. It is very small with a population of around 200 and since it is a touristical community it has many small businesses.

http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/4818/draceresortjan401125954.png
Eratap is currently the only maintained beach and is very popular, it's features are it's life guard and Carmon's Goody stand. Further in shore is  Hounders park. Left of it is the community grocer and upstairs is Lush salon and some office space. Right is the bake sale and the Thai kitchen with apartments upstairs. Across the street is the Drace resort medical clinic and some old apartments and lofts. People usualy use the forest around the island for hiking, walking, exploring and biking and quading.

http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/4961/draceresortjan110112595.png
Far right is Edmond Tigers Department store and family restaurant. Right of penny fountain square is Douzers irish pub and on the other side of the square is the hound sports bar and grill. In the fore ground you can see the pools on the roves of the hotels, they're open at night but who would want to swim at 11:00?

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/9596/draceresortmar160112595.png
Here you can see the road end parking lot and Stradlers beach lined with its canoes and boats. You van also see the yards of the olds apartments and lofts.

http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/4219/draceresortmar190112595.png
Here you can see all the board walk facilities including an all day ferry, restaurants, clothing outlets, gift shops, plazas, food shacks and even a small movie theatre.

http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/6904/draceresortmar300112595.png
Here are the Onyx duplexes, mainly for the more well off to live in. Most of the store owners and hotel managers live here.

http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/4590/draceresortapr301125954.png
Here you can see The Dover building of the Drace hotel complex. It was built  in 1997 and has been renovated since. Each building of the complex has a roof top pool, a tennis court, a resteraunt, lounge, cafe and a spa.

Man, that island is so cool, and the street scenes are wonderful. Really excellent job on that. Can't believe how much you managed to put on so little space and not have it appear cluttered.

UPDATE

in this update we take the ferry and then transfer onto a bus for the ride inland and we end up in the the town of Blackhorse.

http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/7931/blackhorseskiresortsep1.png
Heres where we end up (Black horse bus depot).

http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/9481/blackhorseskiresortaug3.png
heres an overview. Theres a couple of stores but not many, its quite a small town.

http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/7931/blackhorseskiresortsep1.png
on our day visit what I liked most about this town was they put nice parks and paths despite the size of it, although it was a touristical town witch probably influenced the building of the parks.

Now lets eat some where. Hmm ....  &Thk/( lets see um oh yeah why don't we try The Asian food kitchen on main street. I will have #11, hot Hot HOOT just the way I like it.

http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/2045/blackhorseskiresortjan1.png
mmm ...  ()stsfd() now that we had a good meal we can check out the new ski slope! We can't ski on it yet since its summer but we can still dirt bike Yeah!!!  :D
