Simtropolis Moderator here. Can I help? Oh, and you can call me Elias (my real name) if you wish.

Those are awesome pics! I agree with io_bg, you should start an MD!

Wow jijdlswns nice work!  I like how you incorporated the Maxis buildings into your skyline along with your use of RHW!

The downtown core of the area is plopped. Most of the high rise development follows light rail lines.

Your parks are really nice. Also nice CBDs, jijdlswns!

Great night shot of that CBD, emgmod!

wallasey

Some exquisite CBD's here!

This is my offering from Featherstall. The fringes of the main CBD.

RBC

That's a very nice pic, Wallasey. The slightly angled high rise in the front, do you have a link for that?

wallasey

Thanks RBC,

It is one of the HK Batter's I think. Will have a look around for you!

canyonjumper

I second RBC's request. Nice stuff wallasey. And awesome night shot emgmod

Nice downtowns everyone!
Here is the downtown in Apache, my biggest city. The city is home to about 2.048.000 people including the surrounding residential areas and neighbouring city's.
Woot!

Nice shot of that church, wallasey!
Your image is also great, Kskrs!

Nice downtown there, Kskrs ! I like the mix of all the buildings you used there, nicely done.
Yours is fantastic too, wallasey ! St John's circus looks fantastic with that cathedral !
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Thanks all! It may turn into a MD on here, we'll see. I like to try and put my religious buildings in gardens rather than plaza areas; they provide small oasis' in UK City Centres.

I found the building RBC and Canyonjumper were after, it can be downloaded from Simtropolis: http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=22405

Just been toying around with another place in my region...

Keep up the good work everyone!

Connor

Great pictures wallasey, very nice looking city with a distinctive UK feeling to it, if you do start an MD i'll sure be checking it out.  ;)

Since I had to completely restart my PC, every program was uninstalled (well, most programs), which means my city of California City with a population of over 1,500,000 people, is gone. But don't worry, I installed SC4 in my new laptop, and so far the Southern Skyscraper Forest is completed with a population of 701,000 (good start). Here's a picture. Also I'm predicting that the population for the city when it's finished is around 7,000,000. Again the name will be California City (it's location is between Los Angeles and San Fransisco). EDIT: Population now 836,000.
I love airplanes.

canyonjumper

Thanks wallasey :D. You really should start an MD, your pictures are great. And kevinaj, are the skyscrapers all grown? If they are, how did you get so many of them? I can only get a couple of them :)
