peter007: There is a closer zoom image in the current update. The texture is a BSC texture, used in the BSC park series. I changed the sidewalk textures, and also changed the $ and $$ base textures. Furthermore overlay textures matching to the base textures were modified too, otherwise several lots could look really ugly with textures changing from tile to tile. I'm planning to modify the RTMT textures too.

kalvar: Thank you

Well, testing was useful, I found many errors in the plugins. Some buildings appear wrong; some lots grow everywhere, however they should only grow at corners; and there is a mysterious building (or more) which disappears from its lot regularly when other buildings grow nearby. I must repair a lot of things.

Update 13 - The test city of Amsterdam building set

I don't want to repair now, so I start collecting errors from the Amsterdam set. Here is the start of Amsterdam Test City.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a region shot, but next time I will.

P.S. I must kill out those stupid palms...

marsh: I'm thinking on many new mod like HD terrain mod, new train skin... Unfortunately I'm a beginner modder. Should have much more time to finish everything.

Update 14 - Wien

Boston and Amsterdam are still small, and require more population in the region to continue growing. So here is the 3rd city, Wien.
I already found some building, which won't be included in the final set. They looked good, when I downloaded them, but how simply don't fit to the pack.

Farms and suburbs

And the city center with some plopped diagonal buildings

And finally the region

kalvar: I already dreamed about uploading this mod somewhere, when it's finished. I'm just calling it SC4 Wall to Wall Edition ::). But it contains many peoples work, I should ask all of them for approval. Furthermore the mod is ~400MB at this moment, +dependencies. Most of them (building examplars, lots) are modified to fit to each other. And still contains errors. So it would be great to upload, but I don't know at this moment will it ever be possible or not.

marsh: I spent many time to build the sets. Actually months. You just see the results in this MD, and the set still continuously changes. And now I show the last set too.

NorbyToG: Please don't stop your CJ, it's definitely not a crap. This MD was partly started because I liked your CJ, and I also wanted to make something as good as yours.

Update 15 - Rome

Here is the last building set, the Mediterranean. And the test city called Rome.

Definitely not as big, as Rome. Maybe later. Or never.

Rural scene with several R$ houses.

And finally the region itself

Some further development on the Boston test city.

And finally the region

The Boston set does have a nice New england feel.  :P

On the Rome set, I would remove some of the excessively vibrant buildings. I'm mostly talking about those florescent pink ones...  &mmm

Congratulations to your OSITM!  &apls

Should have come here earlier, I like what I see. You do have a good hand for transition from rural / low density to medium density without making the W2Ws too dense (which is usually my mistake). And letting them all grow halfway the way they should is really a time consuming art.

I also love your rural areas, the change from small seddlements to fields, forrests and "empty spaces", it just feels right.

Take care my friend and don' forget to make updates!

Á viszontlátásrá!

Bernhard
