In the meantime, your latest update that I seem to have overlooked is impressive as always!  Great looking waterfront!

kwakelaar

This is such a charming looking town, I really like it very much. The harbour you have made for it is a small gem, will be a great tourist destination I am sure.

First of all, thank you for all the comments. TiFlo, you can find those cemeteries here.
Almost a month after the last update, I've finally prepared another one. I hope you haven't forgotten the existence of my MD $%Grinno$%

Update 56 - The town of Dover Part 2

Let's start with a few random pictures from the town! I've decided to put numbers above the pictures for facility's sake when you're commenting ::)
56.1

One of the elementary schools with it's sports fields and park
56.2

Three sunrise shots
56.3

56.4

56.5

Why not a night one, too? :P
56.6

The highway exit at Oak Bay
56.7

In the late 70s - early 80s the government decided to build a small residential low-wealth complex between the towns of Oak Bay and Dover. The road connecting Dover and that complex would start from this point.
56.8

The work has begun. Trees have been cut and gravel has been laid.
56.9

Progressing...
56.10

56.11

In the meantime, here's the residential complex I mentioned
56.12

And here's the finished road
56.13

One of the park's alleys has been lengthened so that pedestrians can get easily to Dover (sorry for the grid on the next two pics :-[)
56.14

And an overview of the whole thing
56.15

That's all for now, thank you for reading! (and hopefully commenting ;D)

It would be pretty hard to pass up on an update here!  The construction shots are a nice touch!  That residential complex turned out great!

canyonjumper

Awesome update! The residential complex looks great and I love the use of the 10m hill FLuPs!

                  Your friend,
                                 Jordan
I'm the one who jumped across the Grand Canyon... and lived.

Update 57 - A trip to the country

Today we'll check out how Oak Bay is connected with the rest of the region. Here's a quick look at the intersection at the entrance of the town. If you turn to the road going to the left of the picture, you'll go on the ring road, if you go on the road going to the bottom - you'll get in the centre of the town and if you turn to the road on the right, you'll get to...
57.1

...the town's power station. Here's where it gets its electricity ;)
57.2

If you go back, you'll have to go through a few hills. The road is a bit steep, that's why it's a 2x1 one - slow vehicles have to drive on the right while the faster ones can overtake them on the left line.
57.3

A couple of random close-up pictures
57.4

57.5

You can also take the highway which just goes under the hills
57.6

The other entrance of the tunnel
57.7

Different view
57.8

Here's where the road and the highway intersect
57.9

The last option is to take the train... (sorry, no trains appeared on this section of the tracks ;D )
57.10

...but I don't recommend you that because it'll take you longer as the rail line detours round the industrial zone
57.11

Here's an overview of Oak Bay and Dover in case you've wondered how they look from above (this satellite image is not up-to-date - the retaining walls next to the highway still aren't built ;D ) Click for full size - 2738x807 px
57.12

And a small teaser of what you can expect in the next update ::) A small city I've recently been working on...
57.13

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed it!
