Very nice looking city.
I like how you incorporated Buddybud's walls and girders.  I took those girders and added them to jeronij's walls in LE, so that I wouldn't have to use that concrete base.

I look forward to the next set of pics.

Gassian

- The Center of Gassian -

Part III

..last time our journey ended at the Gammle River - pedestrian bridge. The bridge was donated by the "Office du Tourisme - Rondnoir" and connects the trails around Gassian.

The modern look of the bridge is still controversial.

As mentioned Gassian is located in the natural floodplain of the Gammle River. The exposed position made life long arduous.

First primitive drainage canals and retaining walls were built in the first years of Gassian. The canals have been constantly improved and expanded over the centuries.

Constructed by Jacques Brunel's Plans(1886)..

..and renovated in 1979.

The drainage canals flows in the Gammle-River.

The first railway line was opened in 1957. Today an important link for the local industry..

...in the next few days, we'll continue our journey with Part IV

Among many things especially like how you mix the MMP with rock walls lots near the river.

RONDNOIR is extraordinary work, Franky.  MD authors all too rarely receive K-Points for all their hard effort- but you've merited one today.

Your MD is really awesome, my friend!  &apls &apls &apls
Today i saw You in the OSITM-section and the only thing i can say is: it´s well deserved, also the points. The proficiency You show here and Your personal style are rarely seen in the world of SimCity. This little town and its agricultural surrounding is quite beautyful and i´m heavily waiting for the next update.
Congratulations, Carl

"Col de la Madeleine," the highest point of Rondnoir (213m above sea level. NN).
The old Pyla weather station...

..which was in operation until 1993.

The tower was built in the 60s and is named after the famous meteorologists Henry Pyla ..today you'll find here a popular tourist spot...

...you can visit the tower and enjoy the magnificent view of the Eyre Valley and Gassian.

Accessible only through a narrow serpentine through the vineyards..

The tower of Gassian was built in ~ 1705.(Today there is a small wine festival).

The watchtower for the valley village Gassian and Mariae.

Located near the Gammle River, the tower offers a spectacular view of the Gammle and the Eyre Valley.

I hope you enjoyed the last pictures!..
