@shroud, Gugu, Kergelen: Thank you very much!
@art: You`re right, a train is missing. But there might be a train later on  ;)
@Schulmanator: Thanks a lot!
@noah: Thank you very much! I could surely share that bridge. But actually I don't know how to upload things and how to mod things so that they're ready to play for everyone  &ops. Franky used to do all that technical stuff for me. I'm "just" tinkering the things in BAT and then I make them ready for my own use which is not too ambitious in terms of modding.
@Frank: Thank you so much!

Here's just some little pictures from Carsluith. It's far from being ready by now but these little scenes might give an impression of what comes next:

All those fine houses and MMP-able props and flora and shrubs....
I have been into Lotting so much, I guess I missed a lot of these developments this year. Maybe some day I'll have time to do some game playing myselaf again.

But that wasn't the issue here. Sorry.... Gorgegous images! Thank you.

@Frank: Thank you very much!

The following scenery shows Carsluith Castle. I have to admit that this ruin is not the best BAT ever  ???. I had to realize that my BATing skills got pretty rusty over the time but I'm practicing hard!  ;D I actually wanted to show the whole place today but somehow the nightlights of the BATs on the other lots do not show and I'm pretty proud about the nightlights in the other building so I have to find out where the problem is before I can show you the rest. Enough about these negligibilities ...

Carsluith Castle is a ruined tower house. At a rough estimate it was built in 16th century. As all those buildings this tower house has something to tell. It's not a place where any of the well-known Scottish heroes drank their coffee. But nevertheless there's something interesting about it which has to do with the protestant reformation which will have its 500 year jubilee in 2017 as it was the 31st October 1517 when Martin Luther pinned his 95 thesis to the churchdoor in Wittenberg. Carsluith Castle was owned by the Brown family in the 15th century. Gilbert Brown of Carsluith was the last abbot of Sweetheart Abbey (what a pretty name  ;)) near Dumfries before the protestant reformation. After the reformation it was alleged that he hid Jesuit priests at Carsluith Castle. He was arrested for catholic sympathies and he was banned to France where he died in 1612.

The 500 year jubilee of protestant reformation is prepared here in Thuringia. I live about 60 km from the Wartburg in Eisenach where Martin Luther lived after his excommunication by the pope in 1521. And he even was here in Arnstadt where he visited the Franciscan cloister about 1506. I have to admit that I never tried to really understand the meaning of protestant reformation before I engaged in an association with the purpose to rebuild the Oberkirche. The church belonging to the cloister mentioned before. Actually I learned  a lot about the meaning since. I knew that the reformation impacted global history. But that's not the thing which fascinates me most. The most fascinating stories are those like the story of Gilbert Brown. These little historic "home stories" of families.

So here's some pictures of that place in my interpretation in modern times:

This is really some awesome work Theresa! I love the ruins and your pictures of the area. I hadn't replied to your last update yet because I wanted to finish something I'd promised to someone else before I offered the same to you: I'd be happy to help you with modding these bats for you if you'd like.

I love the bridge and the stone houses. Very Scottish! Congratulations on being featured this birthday month.

@kelis: Thank you so much for your nice comment!
@noah: Thanks very much! I'll send you a message about it!
@benedict: Thank you very much!
@agunter: Maybe some of the BATs in the latest updates might be released. I cannot promise anything but I'll do my very best.

Welcome to Carsluith Farm. While creating the landscape around Carsluith Ruin the place seemed too empty. In real life there actually isn't much as far as I could see on Google but in the game I felt that something was missing. So I decided to rebuild the Farm which might have been there in medieval times and to add some modern elements. This is the result:

I'm gonna try to sneak in a reply before you update again. . . I've had a hard time doing that so far :D

Your work is great as ever Theresa. All the details are amazing; I could spend many minutes looking at each scene. I actually did, which is why I haven't replied yet.

The gatehouse is an absolutely fantastic BAT!

Cheers

@kelis: Thank you very much!
@swordmaster: Thank you very much! I have some more pictures for today. I went for a pretty long walk with the dog. As temperatures have decreased very fast I was freezing afterwards and so I enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea on the sofa and finished the meadow behind the ruin.
@vortext: Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like these houses.

So here's some more pictures for today:

The next update will be out of the ordinary. When I watched the news a few moments ago I had an idea for a little scenery. I'll have to prepare things in BAT before I can go back to the game. Actually I'm not sure how to create the scene but I'm sure I'll find a way. So the next update will not be within the next days. But I'm really enjoying playing SC4 again so it won't be too long.
