I agree about the rail spur.  I never liked it much.  I mainly put it there to fill up that area, so, it's history! :D

Andreas, I've uploaded the model file to the BSC exchange.  Thanks for your help.  I appreciate it.

Little edit:  I've been fiddling with the bait shop a bit more.  I changed it some and rendered it so I could see it in the game.  Here's the result.  Still a few things to do, but it's almost ready.

Andreas

It's way too late again, and I should be in bed already, but I've uploaded the modified greenhouse model to the exchange. Here's a comparison:

Thanks Andreas.  It looks much better! ;D  Also, I've uploaded the Redwing Mill and G&K Metal to the LEX for those wishing to have them.  Cheers!

Edit:  I reworked the Currey lot a little; removed some things and added others.  It fits in the space I made it for, and looks ok, so I think it's ready for testing.  Here's a couple of pics.

Currey lot looks awesome. Fits perfectly in my latest project.
The most astounding and unique aspect of the human race is our fervent application of our ingenuity to kill each other, thus completely defying the near-universally proven fact that the ultimate goal of a member of a species is to ensure the survival of the species.

Thanks folks!  OK, while browsing the net, during lunch, I found a pic of an interesting building (at least I thought so).  I saved it and used it for this model.  So far it's just bare walls, roof and windows since I didn't have much time to flesh it out.  I'll work on it a little more tonight and see how it turns out.  Cheers!

p.s.  I don't know what the building was used for originally.  The caption only said "factory on canal".  I guess I'll just have to make something up. :D

Jestarr this one is called the "The Old Cow Shop" maybe thats what you can call it?

More great work as we've all come to expect from you.  ;D

I've seriously taken up lotting of late and I just wanted to compliment you on your great looking industrial props. They really bring industrial areas to life.

Thanks Kevin.  I'm glad you find them of use.  I worked on the canal factory a little more last night.  Didn't get a great lot accomplished, since company showed up, and I was swamped at the shop today, so missed lunch. :P  Anyway, I did a test render to let you all see its current state.  It grew a little.  Go figure.  :D   Cheers!

p.s.  There are 556 windows in this thing.  Thank God for the array tool. :P

mightygoose

youve got your whole Starr Co. premises to BAT as well... if you don't know what i mean check 3RR

Looks amazing!

Do we have a name?  If not, may I suggest the Engelhardt Western Wear Company?

jestarr

Now that's catchy.  Sounds good to me. ;D  So, as a last post for today, I've done a test render of my preliminary texturing attempt.  As always, nothing is final.  Once I've got the textures close to what I want, I'll start on the roof junk.  Cheers!
