I've made some progress on Eastside (which I've renamed to Bonner City). To start us off, here'a a mosaic of the completed downtown area.

17-1
17-2
Exit 324 of Highway 3A, going through Bonner City

17-2
Exit 326 of Highway 3A, with access to Highway 3B (Grantview Connector), which heads to Grantview.

17-3
The revised Marina.

17-4
A waterfront area.

That's all for now. Enjoy!

           Your friend,
                          Jordan
I'm the one who jumped across the Grand Canyon... and lived.

Absolutely adore the work you've done on the downtown. I really like the lighthouse and statue of liberty islands too. The Marina and waterfront are splendid.

A very interesting update!  The islands for the lighhouse and statue of liberty are awesome, and your downtown area looks quite nice.

bat

Great pictures of your nice city.

nedalezz

What a sensational mosaic, your downtown looks fabulous! I cant wait to see how that place looks at night :)

Your marina is also very nice, understated but complete. Are you planning developments around it?

art128

That first mosaic is really well done ! I like the way the canals leads to the standard maxis river. Also that skyscrapers city along the water is very nice.
Picture 17.4 is great, a nice composition of buildings there.

Take care,
-Arthur.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Awesome update, fantastic, my friend!!!

MattyFo

VERY NICE!!!  Hmmmmm...the Waterfront area looks familiar though, you weren't at all inspired by your recent trip to Vancouver where you?? :D  If so great job capturing the feel of that beautiful city, if not, then it reminds me Vancouver  :D  Also I recomend giving the Marina a bit more capacity with PEG's Dock Extention and Dock End available on the STEX just search Marina  ;)  If you don't already have them of course.

bat: Thank you!

Nedal (nedalezz): Thank you! The marina still isn't finished, I'm planning an extension of the docks. And yes, I am planning developments around the marina. In fact, I've already started them ;D

Arthur (art128): Thanks, Arthur! I'll show the transition next update.

Battlecat: Thank you very much!

kimcar: I bet they do!

Tomas (Tomas Neto): Thank you!

Matt (MattyFo): Thanks! I might have been... And as I stated above, the marina still isn't finished, no matter what I said last update ;D

Just a little detour from Bonner City to visit Porteau, a small community on the North Californian coast.

18-1
An overview of Porteau. With only 177 inhabitants, this small hamlet doesn't have much to keep residents here. Only a small CMP (Cascadian Mounted Police) station, a branch of the RCMP, a small fire station, and a very small general store. In fact, the only real attraction here is the pristine beach.

18-2
With warm waters April through October, Porteau Beach is a popular day trip spot. The soft sand feels great under the toes, and surfing is very popular. With the fallen trees typical of most West Coast beaches present, who needs a beach blanket, or a lawn chair :D?

18-3
The actual townsite consists of a mere twelve houses and six businesses. The houses are only there because the occupants fell in love with the beach, and love to spend hours on the beach, listening to the waves break, and feel the soft sand between their toes.

Hope you enjoyed that little excursion to the beach! That was part three of the holiday series I started a while ago. To refresh your memory, the first two were Ashcroft, and Crescent Point. Next time we return to Bonner City to see the progress on the marina and the construction of Highway 1.

                   Your friend,

Wow, that looks way better than my beach :)

I love the little town, if I could, Id want to own a house there and just disappear there for a weekend or so :)

djvandrake

Awesome beach and I love the color of the water.

Battlecat

Stunning job on that beach and shoreline!
